JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Greystar Real Estate Partners (“Greystar”) is seeking a Associate-level professional who can play on integral role within the capital markets function of Greystar Credit. The investment objective of Greystar Credit is to generate above average risk-adjusted returns by targeting the purchase of Freddie Mac K-Series B-Pieces and the origination of senior and subordinated loans and preferred equity investments. Greystar is a global investment manager with $75B of AUM and a managed apartment portfolio of ~1M units.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of structured finance experience, ideally with a focus on real estate credit or real estate private equity. This ambitious and intellectually flexible professional will have broad responsibilities that, in general, can be characterized and evaluated by the ability to accomplish the following: Finance investments and manage liability exposure through the use of repurchase agreements, warehouse lines, or Senior and A-note sales, including working with external legal to negotiate documents Stay current on market pricing and unique structured finance offerings, including CLO market, to ensure investment returns are met for prospective and current credit investments Interface directly with financing counterparties including banks, life companies, and investment managers. Attend real estate finance conferences and represent the Greystar credit business in the marketplace Work closely with the credit portfolio management team and accounting in closing processes, including entity formation requests and liquidity and closing timelines Track and prepare monthly and quarterly reporting obligations for lenders Communicate across the Greystar operating platform and support service functions including accounting, research and strategy, treasury, internal legal, investment committee and other stakeholders to satisfy the investment objective of the business unit. Additional Compensation :

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

Corporate Positions :

In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.

In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
