Hospice Thrift Store Assistant Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont Greenwood, SC 29646
SUMMARY:
The Hospice Store assistant will work under the direction and supervision of the Hospice Store Manager and will coordinate the pick up of donated items as well as perform other various duties related to the operation of the Store. All activities are to be engaged with a high level of customer service as the goal.
QUALIFICATIONS
Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Current SC Driver’s License with no major infractions High School Diploma or GED. Must possess a positive friendly attitude at all times. Must be patient and tolerant toward staff, volunteers, donors and customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive truck and pick up donated items. Open and close the store as assigned. Assist with sorting, testing and setting up items for display. Assist in maintaining and cleaning store and premises. Direct volunteers in absence of the store manager. Assists manager with cash deposits for bank. Operate the Store software program and registers as assigned. Other duties as assigned.
