Full Job Description Job Summary:

As a Marketplace Attendant at Sheraton Music City, you will be the face of our brand-new self-service market. This position is designed for a friendly, proactive, and detail-oriented team member who is excited to support guest needs in a fast-paced, retail-style environment. You will assist guests with self-checkout kiosks, answer questions about our product offerings, maintain inventory levels, and ensure a clean, inviting atmosphere for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet all guests in a warm, welcoming manner and provide assistance as needed. Monitor and assist guests using the self-checkout kiosk; troubleshoot issues and ensure transactions are completed smoothly. Respond to guest inquiries about product selections, dietary restrictions, pricing, and general hotel amenities. Restock merchandise, snacks, beverages, and other items based on par levels and guest demand. Conduct routine checks to ensure cleanliness, product presentation, and merchandising standards are maintained. Report low stock items and coordinate with designated purchasers for timely replenishment. Support monthly inventory counts and help track waste or damages. Handle light cleaning duties such as wiping down surfaces, organizing shelves, and disposing of expired items. Alert engineering or housekeeping if there are equipment issues or cleanliness concerns beyond your scope. Assist with light cashier duties if traditional checkout becomes necessary during downtime or for non-kiosk transactions. Collaborate with the Front Office team on other open projects as assigned, including administrative tasks, guest service initiatives, or seasonal programs. Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction and operational flow.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in retail, food & beverage, or hospitality environments is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for providing excellent guest service. Comfortable using or learning digital tools like self-checkout kiosks or POS systems. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs for restocking purposes. Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
