Technical Sales Specialist Location – Birmingham Opportunity to work for a specialist in manufacturing and supplying safety critical fasteners and turned parts exactly to a customer’s drawing, successfully supplying to some of the largest manufacturing companies in the World. The past 20 years has formed the basis for a full-service manufacture, import and distribution of fasteners, varied MRO solutions, integrated managed stores and fully comprehensive services to the utilities industry. Job Purpose To act as key point of contact between the organisation and our customers; answering queries, offering advice and introducing new products whilst providing the ultimate in customer services. Responsibilities Successfully convert incoming enquiries into orders – Liaising with customers by all methods of communication (UK & Overseas) Offering technical support and advice to customers via telephone or email Accurately inputting and despatching sales orders Assisting in resolving account queries when requested Preparing quotations in response to customer requests in a timely manner Updating customers politely and efficiently on the availability of their orders Correctly updating stock levels on the system Correctly setting up part numbers on the system Manage customer complaints and problems in a timely and effective manner Act as the liaison between key customers and internal teams To input sales orders and sales order amendments onto the system, maintaining a high standard of accuracy in coding and pricing Sourcing parts for customer requirements Your CV will be forwarded to Jonathan Lee Recruitment, a leading engineering and manufacturing recruitment consultancy established in 1978.
