Miller Electric Company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Technology Development Associate to join our team. In this role, you will support the development and implementation of Operations Technology solutions to support internal and external critical system monitoring and automation. You will work closely with our development team to design, test, and deploy OT tools and systems. Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design and development of OT solutions.
Collaborate with the development team to identify areas for automation and improvement.
Conduct testing and debugging of software scripts and tools.
Document OT application processes and provide training to end-users.
Monitor and maintain existing OT systems to ensure optimal performance.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Operations Technology. Requirements
High School Diploma, GED, or Associate’s Degree
Experience with OT software tools and technologies (e.g., SkySpark, Python, Modbus).
Experience with IT and/or OT systems and Ethernet, BACnet, and/or Modbus networking (with relevant certifications preferred)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Benefits
