Summary:

The Manufacturing Scienceand Technology (MSAT) Associate supports manufacturing operationsby ensuring processes are robust, efficient, and compliant. Thisrole provides technical expertise, data analysis, and hands-onsupport for biologics production. The MSAT Associate contributes toprocess monitoring, deviation investigations, technology transfers,and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Thisposition is responsible for providing technical support tocommercial manufacturing operations, including troubleshooting andon-the-floor support during production campaigns. Assist withinvestigation of process deviations, root cause analysis, andimplementation of corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs). Monitorprocess performance through data analysis, trending, and controlcharting (e.g., Ppk, Cpk). Establish and maintain projecttimelines, draft and revise technical documents including SOPs,batch records and technical reports. Assist with new productintroduction efforts to ensure successful tech transfer throughcollaboration with Supply Chain, Quality and Manufacturing teams.

Support process validation activities, including authoringprotocols/reports and analyzing results. Participate in processimprovement initiatives to enhance yield, reduce variability, andimprove process robustness.

Requirements:

BS or an MS in lifescience discipline; bioengineering degree preferred. Requires aminimum of 3 years of industry experience, particularly within themanufacturing or downstream process areas. Experience withtechnical transfer and scale up is highly preferred.

Experiencewith manufacturing processes such as:

filling, filtration,chromatography, etc. is of high importance. Data analyticsexperience with JMP or similar program is a plus. Must be highlyengaged analytically and have proficiency in technical tools andtransfer methods.
