Your day-to-day
Engage with customers to understand their information protection structure and workflow to become a trusted advisor
Drive complex implementations while working side by side with other Proofpoint resources and customers to meet Information Protection security and compliance requirements
Work with internal teams (e.g. engineering, sales, and product management) and external partners to ensure that customer requirements are well understood, tracked and processed.
Coordinate with multiple parties to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution to customer issues, and completion of projects
Knowledge of data protection tools including Microsoft, Symantec and/or Proofpoint Enterprise DLP, CASB and cloud services
Define and document the best practice techniques, processes, templates, and architectures for use by the managed services team
Develop and mentor other PCMS resources to help improve their technical knowledge, project management, and customer management skills
Leverage previous experiences, share best practices, and facilitate creative solutions to unique challenges maximizing the value of our Information Protection products
What you bring to the team
3+ years industry experience in a Professional Services Consulting role
Extensive knowledge and experience with Information Protection and Compliance
Technical background in enterprise applications, software, and services
Experience with data protection tools including Proofpoint Enterprise DLP, CASB and cloud services
Strong project management skills with great attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal skills
Strong knowledge in writing and understanding Regular Expressions a plus
Must be comfortable with presenting and explaining technology to Senior Business Executives and people with high technical knowledge
Have a good understanding of the sales process, be sensitive to sales situations, and possess excellent customer service skills
Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrate experience leading a team of Information Protection professionals
Excellent organizational, analytical, and influence skills
Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and have a positive attitude
Demonstrated experience in supporting Fortune 500 or other large customers
BA/BS or higher in related field
