We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Software Sales Executive to join our team and lead the growth of our document management and compliance solutions portfolio. The ideal candidate has a strong background in B2B software sales, understands the regulatory and operational challenges businesses face in managing documents and records, and thrives in a fast-paced, solution-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities in document management and compliance software.
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through outbound prospecting, inbound inquiries, networking, and partner channels.
Client Consultation:
Understand client needs and pain points related to document workflows, compliance mandates (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, FINRA, ISO), and records retention.
Product Demos & Presentations:
Deliver tailored product demonstrations and presentations to stakeholders including IT, legal, compliance, and operations teams.
Proposal Development:
Draft proposals, respond to RFPs/RFIs, and collaborate with pre-sales and legal teams to close deals.
Account Management:
Maintain strong relationships with key accounts; identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Market Intelligence:
Stay informed of industry trends, competitors, and regulatory updates impacting document management and compliance.
CRM & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports.
Requirements:
Experience:
3+ years of software sales experience, ideally with a focus on document management, content management, ECM, or compliance solutions.
Knowledge:
Understanding of compliance regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, SOX, etc.) and digital document lifecycle requirements.
Skills:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; proven ability to influence decision-makers.
Tools:
Proficient with CRM platforms , Microsoft Office, and virtual demo tools (Zoom, Teams, etc.).
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience selling to industries with high compliance needs such as healthcare, legal, finance, or government. Familiarity with DMS platforms like SharePoint, DocuWare, M-Files, or Laserfiche. Track record of exceeding quotas and delivering long sales-cycle enterprise deals.
