Job Description

Technical Sales Rep, OEM 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars Calhoun, GA Join MAPEI Corporation, a global leader in the manufacturing of construction chemicals and building materials, including adhesives, sealants, and specialty products used in flooring, tile, and concrete restoration. We are looking for a Technical Sales Representative to support our OEM and Sports channels. In this role, you will promote MAPEI products, provide technical assistance and training, investigate product claims, and collaborate with R D on specialized projects nationwide—all while building strong customer partnerships and driving sales growth. Responsibilities Achieve or exceed sales targets for the assigned market by promoting MAPEI products within the OEM and Sports channels. Conduct product training sessions (virtual or on-site), provide jobsite troubleshooting, and deliver technical recommendations and proprietary specifications. Serve as a key liaison to customers by developing strong relationships, supporting purchasing decisions, and offering guidance on inventory levels and stocking strategies. Provide technical support including field demonstrations, claim investigations, and jobsite reporting with documented follow-up actions. Collaborate with R D on field trials, product development, competitive analysis, and special projects to support innovation and customer needs. Gather and share market intelligence on customer trends and competitors; contribute to new product ideas and continuous improvement initiatives. Travel 25-50% as needed to support customers, attend trade shows, and deliver monthly sales activity reports to management. Maintain a safe workspace, adhering to all safety and quality standards. Qualifications External sales experience with a proven track record in relevant industry/products. Strong knowledge of the assigned market/industry.
