Job Description
Riverview School, a boarding and day school on Cape Cod for middleschool, high school, and post-secondary students with complex learningchallenges, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Technology Specialistto join our team. The Technology Specialist will develop and implementage-appropriate technology curricula for students ranging in age from12-22. The ideal candidate will deliver differentiated instruction incomputer science, digital literacy, and digital citizenship, ensuringstudents are equipped with essential technology skills while fostering apositive, inclusive classroom environment. This role includescollaborating with classroom teachers to align digital skills withacademic objectives, managing assistive technology resources, andproviding targeted training for both students and staff. The TechnologySpecialist will also oversee instructional technology subscriptions,maintain and distribute an inventory of tech tools, assist in classroomtechnology support, and stay current with advancements in technology andinstructional best practices. Requirements:
Teaching licensure preferred, but not required for qualified technologycandidates College degree in Technology, Education or related field Abackground in education and experience in the field of special educationpreferred Suitable background check (CORI, SORI, DCF) and fingerprintingrequired Legal authorization to work in the US
