Responsibilities:
Position Summary:
As a HR Technology Specialist, you will assist with platform and report configuration within all HR applications, integration testing & validation, as well as provide end user support – conduct training, troubleshoot platform issues, conduct password resets, user account management, etc. This is an essential role in the administration, maintenance, and optimization of our HR technology systems, as well as overall efficiency of our HR technology team. The ideal person for this role has a strong interest in HR technology, working knowledge of HR policies and regulations, a passion for learning, and a desire to contribute to a positive employee experience. Essential Duties include the following:
Responsible for build, configuration and maintenance of all HR applications, such as HRIS, LMS, ATS, employee engagement platforms, etc.. Provides day to day end-user support of all HR business applications. Responds to inquiries and/or issues reported according to identified SLAs and provides clear and concise instruction, end user education, issue resolution and recommendations for change – escalating complex issues to senior team members, as needed. Creates, maintains and delivers accurate and up-to-date system documentation and user guides and resources on all HR technology platforms. Conducts testing and validation for all configuration and updates made to HR applications. Provides communication and training to internal HR team, as well as any impacted end user. Assists in the establishment, testing and maintenance of all integrations with the HR platforms. Support the implementation of new HR technology tools and initiatives Identify opportunities to improve HR technology processes and workflows and collaborates with impacted teams to determine buy-in and implement changes. Ensures data protection follows Federal, State, local Government, and regulatory and compliance legislation and policies with regards to sensitive information protection and implementation of “need-to-know” information security processes. Documents system configuration and processes. Assist with data entry, data validation and data integrity within HR applications. Participate in all system upgrades, testing and implementation projects. Provides detailed documentation and reporting in support of internal and external audits, as requested. Participates in departmental, agency and professional meetings and workgroups. Assist in documenting and streamlining HR technology procedures Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications, Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources or related field. One (1) or more years’ experience working with HRIS, ATS and other HR technologies. One (1) or more years’ experience creating and providing training and educational tools and materials for HR technology applications. Experience working with ADP Workforce Now, iCIMS, Colibri CEU 360 preferred. Must have advanced knowledge of MS Excel. Experience working with Power Automate is preferred Knowledge of HR processes and terminology is preferred. Technical aptitude and ability to understand system configurations is required. Outstanding written and verbal communications; ability to communicate complex technical matters to all levels of leadership, aligning communication style to the needs of the customer. Good judgment when addressing business requests, responding to inquiries, escalating matters, etc.. A sense of professional curiosity, desire to learn new things, and to find/recommend solutions to problems Strong quantitative and analytical skills and attention to detail.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in Internet browsers (e.g., Explorer, Chrome, Fire Fox), HR business applications (HRIS, ATS, LMS), AI tools, middleware/integration tools, as well as proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Automate.
