Job Summary:

onsemi is currently seeking an experienced Integration Engineer – Discrete and Power FET Technology Development team in EFK, who is responsible for the technology introduction and module integration.

Qualifications:

PhD, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Proven experience in semiconductor device design and development, specifically in power FET technology. Proficiency in simulation tools such as TCAD, SPICE, and other relevant software. Strong understanding of semiconductor physics and device fabrication processes. Experience with 300mm fab processes and technology. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively. Effective communication skills to present technical information clearly and concisely. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with high-voltage and high-current power FET applications. Knowledge of reliability testing and failure analysis techniques. Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for power electronics

Salary:

onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $164,105 to $221,605 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members. We also offer a competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize discrete power FET devices for various applications. Conduct simulations and modeling to predict device performance and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate power FETs into system-level solutions. Perform characterization and testing of power FET devices to ensure compliance with specifications. Analyze and interpret experimental data to drive continuous improvement in device performance. Stay updated with the latest advancements in power FET technology and industry trends. Document design processes, test results, and technical reports. Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing teams during production ramp-up. Report directly to the Sr. Director of Technology Development. Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, including presenting technical information in executive-level reviews
