Overview:

This position serves as a specialist within the Corporate ReUse department, focusing on the refurbishment, configuration, and resale of technological equipment. The role also involves technical support, project coordination, and direct client interaction for equipment sales. This is a hands-on, active role that combines technical expertise with customer service and equipment lifecycle management.

Primary Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Technology management, engineers, and support teams to manage the disposition of all technology equipment, including laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile devices, scanners, and peripherals. Perform installations, configurations, and operations of systems hardware/software according to established guidelines. Troubleshoot and resolve moderately to highly complex issues using diagnostic tools. Maintain and track a repair inventory log for all devices. Manage ServiceNow platform-related activities including triaging and processing of orders and tickets, enhancement meetings, testing, and issue resolution. Discover, transport, assess, and refurbish unused equipment throughout the Bank for potential resale. Participate in the retail sale of refurbished technology to internal and external clients. Produce and manage daily inventory reports to meet corporate supply demands. Engage directly with clients and customers to understand needs and recommend appropriate refurbished equipment. Facilitate vendor and internal staff meetings; coordinate vendor resources as needed. Recommend and implement new departmental policies and procedures to improve effectiveness. Maintain working knowledge of bank applications, system development environments, and vendor technologies. Adhere to risk and regulatory standards, internal controls, and audit expectations. Complete additional related duties as assigned.

Scope of Responsibilities:

Mentor and coach less experienced team members.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:

None directly, but may mentor junior staff and coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Education and Experience Required:

Minimum of 4 years of higher education and/or work experience. Strong knowledge of infrastructure lifecycle, IT service management, systems design, and vendor best practices. Advanced expertise in PC hardware, systems support, and diagnostic tools. Experience interacting with clients and gathering technical requirements. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. HP Commercial Desktops, Workstations, and Notebook Service Qualification (or obtain within 6 months). Comp

Certification (or obtain within 1 year).

Education and Experience Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field. Minimum of 5 years higher education and/or work experience. Certifications or specialized training in related technologies. Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and influencing skills.

Physical Requirements:

This is a physically active position requiring regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crawling, and climbing. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Requires visual acuity including close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
