Sr. Specialist – Data Sales
We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team in a fast-paced, multi-dimensional role that blends strategic thinking, client engagement, and cross-functional collaboration. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, values strong team culture, and is passionate about driving growth through meaningful customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and prioritize sales, retention, and marketing initiatives to support regional growth and revenue generation.
Close deals to meet and exceed individual and team sales targets within defined timelines.
Prioritize meeting customers in person
Build and maintain high-level relationships with customers and prospects in your territory.
Conduct regular strategy meetings with executives to understand their business needs and align them with Nasdaq’s solutions.
Lead product implementation efforts and coordinate communication across relevant Nasdaq business units.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities (calls, meetings, events) in Salesforce; attention to CRM hygiene is essential.
Act as a liaison between clients and Nasdaq product teams to support new product development and enhancements.
Leverage internal relationships to accelerate business development efforts.
Represent Nasdaq as a subject matter expert at industry events, seminars, and conferences.
Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years of successful sales experience, ideally within finance, technology, or market information services.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong collaboration skills, proactive customer engagement, and a willingness to learn.
High energy, self-motivation, and a results-driven mindset.
Excellent communication, time management, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Salesforce and strong general technology skills.
Willingness to travel and occasionally work outside standard business hours.
Preferred Experience
General understanding of cloud solutions, API technologies and larger market data ecosystem.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities effectively.
Interest in financial markets, technology, and the fintech space.
Ability to develop subject matter expertise in complex Nasdaq offerings and tailor solutions to client needs.

The base pay range for this role is $98,100 – $163,500. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
