Job Summary :

The Inside Technical Sales Representative will beresponsible for supporting customers, preparing technicalproposals, and closing sales for a local manufacturing company.

This role combines technical expertise with strong sales acumen toaddress client needs, provide solutions, and build lastingrelationships. You’ll work closely with engineers, contractors, andfacility managers to recommend equipment and services tailored totheir requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to customerinquiries via phone, email, and digital channels, providingtechnical support and product recommendations. Prepare and deliverdetailed sales proposals, including system specifications, pricing,and timelines. Collaborate with engineering and service teams toassess client needs and ensure proposed solutions meet technicalrequirements. Negotiate terms and close sales, achieving orexceeding sales quotas. Maintain accurate records of customerinteractions and sales activities in CRM software. Providepost-sale support, coordinating with service teams to ensurecustomer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Experience with MechanicalSystems, Business, or related field; or equivalent technicaltraining (Associate’s degree or vocational certification).

Experience:

2 years in technical sales. Experience in B2B orindustrial sales is a plus.

Technical Skills:

Understanding of HVACsystems, boilers, and related components (e.g., burners, controls,pumps). Ability to read and interpret technical documents,blueprints, and schematics.
