Associate – Aging Institute – Dr. Gang Li Med-Aging Institute – Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh – ( 21006980 ) A postdoctoral associate position is available immediately in Dr. Gang Li’s lab in the Aging Institute at University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. The candidate will work on several projects that have very solid preliminary data, which will lead to high-impact publications in an efficient way. Candidate will have great opportunities to develop in both basic and translational studies by learning novel technologies as well as skills such as grant application and project managing.
Qualifications:
Must have a recently awarded PhD degree (within the last five years), MD degree (within the last ten years), or equivalent doctorate degree (e.g., ScD, DVM, etc.) upon initial appointment at the University of Pittsburgh and University of Pittsburgh Postdoctoral Associate guidelines apply. The successful candidate will have effective written and verbal communication skills. Research experience in human and mouse genetics, cardiovascular diseases and functional genomics is preferred. Salary is based on NIH postdoc stipend levels, but negotiable based on candidate’s experience.
