About the role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves managing the full sales cycle for B2B clients, from prospecting new customers to closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in the freight & parcel and distribution & freight industries, with a strong understanding of conveyor systems and controls systems. Additionally, the candidate will assist the Vice President of Lifecycle Services in building out a new business unit, and demonstrate a strong passion for their work, driving excellence and innovation in all tasks. Seeking candidates with a foundational understanding and or experience with:
Manage Full Sales Cycle:
Oversee all stages of the B2B sales process, starting with prospecting for new customers and moving through to closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
Industry Expertise:
Utilize extensive knowledge and experience in the freight parcel and distribution & freight industries, including a strong understanding of conveyor systems and controls systems, to identify and address client needs.
Estimate Development:
Collaborate with third-party mechanical and electrical contractors to develop accurate and competitive estimates for clients.
Communication Skills:
Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, from shop floor personnel to boardroom executives, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
Autonomous Work:
Demonstrate the ability to work independently, managing time and resources efficiently without direct supervision.
Market Development:
Identify and develop new market opportunities, expanding the company’s customer base and driving growth.
