Responsibilities:

Answer inbound sales phone calls, gather contract information, add prospect to Elead with notes that accurately reflect the conversation. Respond to leads and chats in timely and professional manner with proper grammar, spelling and punctuation. Follow up on, phone inquires and past customers to drive dealership traffic. Assertively pursue a dialog with each assigned prospect by phone, email and text. Prospect our existing customer base to identify and cultivate sales opportunities and promote retention and brand loyalty. Call through unsold showroom traffic, uncover the primary reason they chose not to buy during their visit and communicate that to management Build rapport with each prospect, identify customer’s needs, and provide the customer with tools and information needed to make a purchase decision. Actively communicate with Sales Manager to ensure each customer’s needs have been met and notes are accurate and up to date. Earn and maintain BDC Representative and Sales Consultant certification with Toyota Organizer must be up to date and all tasks completed daily Maintain and outbound call average of 80 or more calls per day Maintain strong understanding of the dealership’s vehicles, promotions, and services to provide accurate information to customers

Qualifications:

1 year previous experience in a call center, customer service, or automotive BDC preferred Strong communication and active listening skills Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of calls and emails Proficiency in CRM software (eLeads) and basic computer skills Goal-oriented and motivated by performance-based incentives Professional, friendly, and persuasive demeanor Group 1 is a Fortune 300 company that owns and operates automotive dealerships and collision centers in the United States and United Kingdom.
