The Postdoctoral Associate supports research activities at the University, under the supervision of a faculty member, in order to advance their knowledge and/or be documented by scientific publications. Duties related to the

College of Arts & Sciences:

Conduct innovative research at the interface of AMO physics, ultrafast optics, and quantum information science under the supervision of Prof. Hebin Li in the Department of Physics. Design, set up, and conduct experiments in the laboratory. Acquire, analyze, and interpret experimental data. Perform theoretical calculations and numerical simulations related with the experiments. Disseminate research results in the form of peer-reviewed publications, conferences, and patents. Collaborate with other researchers in the lab and demonstrate leadership.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must have excellent communication skills, oral and written. Must be detail oriented. Education Requirements (Essential Requirements): Doctoral degree or equivalent in their specialty. Work Experience Requirements (Essential Requirements): No work experience is required.
