Job Description The Department of Pathology, Heersink School of Medicine, at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is inviting applications from qualified candidates at the Associate and Full Professor level for two full-time, open tenure earning positions to strengthen our research programs across the following broad areas:
Cardiovascular and Cardiometabolic Disease, Neurodegeneration, Infectious disease and Immunity
In addition, the Department of Pathology is participating in institutional initiatives in faculty recruitment in Neurosciences and Cancer. Required Qualifications Candidates must have an M.D. or Ph.D. in relevant disciplines. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated record of originality and productivity in research and scholarly activity including previous and current extramural funding, and an interest in graduate and medical education.
