In-Vivo Bioanalytical Research Associate 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars Groton, CT 06340 Currently, Spectrix Analytical Services, LLC is seeking a qualified individual for a Full-time permanent position with Spectrix contributing to In-Vivo Bioanalytical screening support at our client’s site located in Groton, CT. The individual will work with the Non-Regulated Bioanalytical group in ADME sciences within the Pharmacokinetics, Dynamics, and Metabolism (PDM) department. The position will focus on supporting the client’s portfolio with bioanalytical assay development and in-vivo study support in a non-regulated environment with fit-for-purpose assays.
PRIMARY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform preparation of biological samples (blood, plasma, bio-fluids, and bio-tissues) using techniques such as protein precipitation, solid/liquid extraction (SLE), solid-phase extraction (SPE), and other appropriate sample cleanup methods. Conduct
LC-MS/MS
analysis to support bioanalytical studies. Troubleshoot assay performance and resolve technical issues as they arise. Process analytical data and generate comprehensive reports. Collaborate effectively within a team environment to meet project timelines and quality standards.
JOB EXPECTATIONS
On-site Monday through Friday during core business hours (9am to 3pm) Communicate clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing. Utilize computers proficiently for laboratory and data tasks; familiarity with or willingness to learn Watson LIMS and Sciex OS is required. Maintenance of instrumentation and consumables inventory
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Biochemistry or Chemistry with 1-2 years of relative laboratory experience. Extremely well organized with a high attention to detail. Familiarity with liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS). Experience preferred with operating and troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation/automation.
