Job Description:
The successful applicant will be trained by lab staff to perform the following research:
1. Lab organization/maintenance/cleanup, preparation of reagents, solutions and
bacteriological media, dishwashing, and autoclaving.
2. Mouse Colony Research – Assist postdoctoral fellows with their projects.
3. RNA Research – Preparation of genomic DNA from eukaryotic cells, PCR amplification of DNA.
4. Other related duties as required or assigned
Expected Salary:
$14.00 per hours.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma and a UF student.
Preferred:
Biochemistry and/or Microbiology lab coursework.
Availability over the summer is a must.
