Contract Overview Leading pharmaceutical company looking for anexperienced Research Associate to join their protein massspectrometry laboratory lab in their Pharmacokinetics Dynamics andMetabolism department. The lab based role will focus on small scalepreparation of biological samples such as cells, tissues or plasmafor subsequent mass spectrometry measurement. Must bring a BS or MSDegree in Chemistry or Biochemistry, 1-3 years of industryexperience, and experience with LC-MS. Responsibilities

• Preparation of samples for mass spectrometry analysis
• Design ofexperiments in collaboration with colleagues
• Conduct analyticalexperiments and method development as needed
• Identify and exploitnew scientific concepts
• Interpretation and documentation ofexperimental results
• Communication of experimental results toteam members
• Maintaining high quality record in electronic labnotebook Requirements
• BS/MS degree in chemistry, biologicalsciences, biochemistry or related fields (NON-PhD)
• BS 3 years exp
• MS 1 year exp
• LC-MS biological sample preparation involving amulti-step process to isolate, purify, and concentrate the analytesof interest for the LCMS analysis
• Operation of laboratoryequipment
• Works well both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong data organization, analysis, andcommunication skills .
