Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Associate with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or Analytical Chemistry and at least 2 years of relevant experience in a biopharmaceutical setting.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in executing analytical experiments, maintaining laboratory standards, and supporting research activities with minimal supervision.
This position requires strong scientific acumen, compliance-focused documentation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic research environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct experiments by following established protocols to generate reliable, reproducible results with limited supervision. Plan, monitor, and execute experimental work; analyze, interpret, and communicate results to the broader team. Transfer experimental methodologies from literature to lab applications and adapt protocols as needed. Develop and implement new laboratory procedures with moderate oversight. Maintain accurate and compliant documentation using electronic lab notebooks and data systems. Troubleshoot equipment issues and resolve experimental challenges independently. Perform in-house sample management and contribute to lab organization, safety, and inventory efforts. Engage in scientific discussions and provide support for technical documents including reports, publications, regulatory filings, and patent submissions. Participate in cross-functional responsibilities such as staff training, safety initiatives, recruiting, and lab committee work. Support housekeeping tasks including buffer preparation and glassware cleaning.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related discipline. Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience in a biopharmaceutical or related industry. Hands-on experience with chromatography techniques and Empower software. Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliant documentation practices. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, multitask, and work independently. Preferred Qualifications Experience with in-house sample management systems. Familiarity with liquid chromatography and capillary electrophoresis methods. Proficiency in buffer preparation and general laboratory housekeeping.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
