Position Summary:
Join the Department of Biological and Chemical Sciences at Manhattan University as we seek an enthusiastic chemistry educator to inspire the next generation of scientists. This visiting position offers the perfect blend of teaching excellence and optional research involvement in a collaborative academic environment. Our chemistry program emphasizes hands-on learning, critical thinking, and preparation for careers in science, medicine, and industry. This is an in-person, on-campus, non-remote position.
Responsibilities:
As a Visiting Assistant Professor, you’ll have the opportunity to: Inspire students through engaging instruction in General Chemistry lectures and laboratories Share your expertise by teaching specialized courses in your area of chemistry Innovate curriculum by collaborating with faculty to enhance our chemistry programs Mentor undergraduates in research projects (optional but encouraged) Join a supportive community committed to student success and scientific discovery We particularly welcome applications from chemists with expertise in analytical chemistry and inorganic chemistry, though all areas of chemistry will be considered.
