POSITION SPECIFICS

The laboratory of Assistant Professor Carly Schissel in the Chemistry Department at The Pennsylvania State University seeks to fill a postdoctoral research position to work in the areas of chemical biology, peptide chemistry, and molecular biology. The position requires a PhD in chemistry with a focus on chemical biology, or an equivalent doctorate in an appropriate field. Researchers with training in chemical and solid-phase synthesis, mammalian tissue culture and bioassays, and/or molecular biology are preferred, but individuals trained in other fields of chemical biology are welcome to apply.
