Additional Information About the Role Christian Hospital has a full-time Lab Associate III opportunity for experienced candidates. At least two years of send outs experience is required. Perfect for someone organized with attention to details and great communication skills. Network Reference Lab is the Christian Hospital Laboratory Outreach program for marketing & providing lab services to hospitals, physician offices, clinics & other clients. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Performs a variety of pre analytic, analytic and post analytic laboratory duties as assigned. Responsibilities Performs waived and moderate complex testing with appropriate training and competency, sweat chloride collections, EKG’s, etc. Under supervision, reports test results as appropriate. Sorts and processes routine and specific high level specimens received by the lab–including multistep technical processing (i.e. Histology, Microbiology, Cytology, etc.). Ensures correct processing and packaging for esoteric send out tests. Coordinates a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times.
