Teaching Full Job Description Description:

Indian Rocks Christian School (IRCS) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Christian educator to teach science in our high school. The ideal candidate will have a heart for Christ-centered education and a commitment to teaching from a biblical worldview while inspiring students academically and spiritually.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach science classes for high school students, fostering critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and a passion for scientific exploration through a biblical perspective. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum, academic standards, and a biblical worldview. Integrate biblical principles into classroom instruction, discussions, and activities to encourage spiritual growth and character development. Collaborate with colleagues and administration to support student growth, academic achievement, and spiritual formation. Actively participate in school events, professional development, and community activities as part of the IRCS team.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Science Education or a related field. Experience teaching science courses to high school students in a classroom setting. Strong commitment to Christian values, spiritual discipleship, and the mission of Indian Rocks Christian School. A collaborative and supportive leader who exemplifies humility, drive, emotional intelligence, positivity, and unwavering loyalty to the IRCS vision and mission.
