I CLASSIFICATION MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in biology or a closely related life science field.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Data collection, wet lab techniques. Harvesting, cleaning, storing, prepping fruit and juice and other field work. Wet Lab, field, and greenhouse upkeep (irrigation management, pest scouting, etc.). Plant propagation, including grafting, making crosses and seed propagation. Field trial map upkeep. Train and cooperate with graduate students, postdoctoral associates, visiting scientists, and other lab personnel in protocols, policies, techniques currently used in the laboratory. Safe storage and proper disposal of hazardous physical, chemical and biological wastes. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in biology or a closely related life science field.

PREFERRED

Microsoft office, map reading and making, and citrus grafting expertise.
