Contract Overview Leadingpharmaceutical company looking for an experienced Senior AssociateScientist. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelors or Mastersdegree in biological science, biochemistry or related fields with1-3 years of experience. Responsibilities Contribute to the designof experiments and independently perform sample preparation usingvarious extraction, protein digestion and purification techniquesfor mass spectrometry analysis. Develop “fit-for-purpose” assaysand bioanalytical workflows, balancing rigor against study goals toensure timely delivery of high-quality data. Work with differenttypes of samples (biological fluids, tissues) from pre-clinicalspecies. Assist in data analysis and interpretation, communicateresults to team members. Contribute to the setup, troubleshooting,and maintenance of liquid chromatography and mass spectrometryinstrumentation and/or other laboratory equipment. Maintainscientific and ethical standards, including appropriaterecord-keeping and compliance. Requirements
B.S./M.S.
in biologicalsciences, biochemistry, or related fields. Recent graduate with 1to 3 years of experience. Excellent oral and written communicationskills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a teamenvironment. Demonstrated ability to perform complex samplepreparation workflows (preferably for biological mass spectrometry)with minimal supervision. Experience working in a laboratoryenvironment. Well-organized, self-motivated, and able to multitaskwith attention to detail. Willingness to learn and a strong workethic. Works well independently and in a matrix environment.
