Overview:

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a contract research Associate for our Pharmaceutical partner in Cambridge MA. If this sounds like you, now for instant consideration!
The anticipated wage for this position is between $38 and $44.38. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
Our client’s Functional Genomics group, part of the Target, Disease, and Systems Biology (TDSB) function, is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Research Associate to join their dynamic team. They are dedicated to discovering transformative therapies by leveraging cutting-edge technologies in genomics, CRISPR screening, automation, and flow cytometry. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside multidisciplinary experts across immunology, ophthalmology, rare and neurological diseases, oncology, and gene therapy.
The successful candidate will actively contribute to early-stage drug target discovery, ing innovative tools like CRISPR, siRNA, and pharmacological perturbations to identify and validate novel therapeutic targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Independently design and execute biological experiments, including data analysis and interpretation.
Collaborate with senior researchers to develop, optimize, and validate cell-based assays across multiple therapeutic areas.
Explore and implement new laboratory techniques and technologies.
Partner closely with internal TDSB groups and Therapeutic Area scientists to support target discovery initiatives.
Clearlymunicate experimental designs, results, and insights in written reports, presentations, and discussions.

Essential Qualifications:

B.S. or M.S. in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or a related field.
1-3 years of hands-on laboratory experience (academic or industry).
Proficient in mammalian cell culture and cellular assay development.
Experience in at least one of the following lab skill sets: molecular biology, genomics, or biochemistry.
Strong team orientation, excellent interpersonal skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Highly motivated, with a demonstrated ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with gene-editing technologies such as CRISPR-Cas9.
Experience with molecular and biochemical assays, including:
PCR / q

RT-PCR / NGS

Western blotting
Flow cytometry
Previous experience designing and optimizingplex cell-based assays.
Strong written and verbalmunication skills.

Pay Details:

$38.00 to $44.00 per hour
