Job Description The Department of Ophthalmology seeks outstanding candidates for full-time Research Assistant positions at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. The selected candidates will be responsible for assisting with ocular cell biology, biochemistry and microscopy experiments as part of a newly NIH-funded research project. This involves preparing biological and other specimens for imaging and ocular cell biological and biochemical testing and to acquire and analyze related data. These positions will assist in maintaining the ocular cell biology, biochemistry and microscopy equipment, order routine supplies, prepare technical reports and archive data. Qualifications Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience in cell biology methods and in microscopy techniques.
