Description Position Summary & Responsibilities:

This position isto provide solution-oriented consultative training, technicalsupport and troubleshooting at customer sites, and remotely, onbioMerieux’s diagnostic product lines. Effectively work withcustomers to achieve efficient implementation and go live of newinstrumentation. Retain current customer business, while developingand strengthening customer relationships that result in customerloyalty and positive referrals. Collaborate with all stakeholdersto ensure customers receive prompt, accurate and professionalsupport to further their business needs. The Field ApplicationSpecialist I promotes teamwork and cooperation, removes barriers toproductivity, and creates an enthusiastic, positive workenvironment. This is a field based position supporting part of thefrontier territory covering New Mexico, Colorado, and Wyoming withthe ideal candidate being located in or around the Denver, CO area.

Candidates must reside within the territory or be willing torelocate. Extensive field travel is required – average 65-80%overnight stays. Perform all work in compliance with company policy and withinthe guidelines of bioMerieux’s Quality System. Coordinate and provide technical training, consultation, andongoing support of bioMerieux’s diagnostic product lines within theU.S. customer base. Develop, cultivate, and maintain strong professionalrelationships with all customers. Answer internal and external customer inquiries and ensureregulatory compliance through timely and accurate documentation inbioMerieux’s CRM system; consulting as appropriate with SalesPartners, Application Specialists, Field/System Engineers, ITResources, Management teams, and Local/Global Support Teams. Provide consistent follow up to ensure customer satisfactionand meet minimum key performance indicators. Responsible for efficient territory management within operatingexpense budget. Support bioMerieux revenue initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned, and/or as business needsdictate.

Education, Skills, & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, technical, or lifescience field 1+ years clinical laboratory experience or equivalent. bioMerieux product experience preferred. ASCP or MLT certifications preferred Molecular or Microbiology experience is preferred Laboratory Information System, or Connectivity/Networkingexperience a plus. Experience with guidelines with CLIA regulations and/oradditional laboratory credentialing agencies preferred. Experience with related technical field applications supportstrongly preferred. The estimated salary range for this role basedin the Denver, CO area is between $78,000 and $95,000 annually.

This role is eligible to receive an annual bonus based onindividual performance per bioMerieux’s bonus program. This rangemay differ from ranges offered for similar positions elsewhere inthe country given differences in cost of living. Actualcompensation within this range is determined based on thesuccessful candidate’s experience and will be presented in writingat the time of the offer.
