Job Description
Adjunct, Biology (Anatomy & Physiology) Rivier University (NH) Nashua, NH 03060 JOB Rivier University is inviting applicants for an Adjunct position in the Biology program with a focus on Anatomy & Physiology. You will teach in-person at our state-of-the-art Science & Innovation Center which has 35,000 square feet of research and instructional labs, as well as multimedia teaching spaces. This is not an online position. The successful candidate will teach Anatomy & Physiology I & II sequence, as well as laboratory sections. Candidates will begin teaching during the Spring 2025 semester. Direction and supervision are provided by the Dean of Arts & Sciences.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Candidate must possess a keen interest in teaching Anatomy & Physiology (classes and labs) to students of all levels and abilities.
Work collaboratively with colleagues both in the department and throughout the University community in support of the University’s mission.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Ability to engage in critical thinking and exercise independent judgement. Ability to maintain confidentiality and mange confidential information. Ability to collaborate with other faculty and staff and maintain collegial relations. Self-starter, ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form.
Computer skills and proficiency with a variety of computer applications including work-processing, on-line teaching and reporting platforms.
