Competitive retirement package to secureyour future. Responsibilities The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN isseeking a breast medical oncologist to join our department. TheMayo Clinic is among the leading cancer care providers in theUnited States and is an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center.
Mayo Clinic physicians diagnose and treat more than 1,300 newpatients with breast cancer each year. The Mayo medical oncologygroup in Rochester is known for its extensive involvement in thepreclinical and clinical development of new breast cancer therapiesas well as an extensive program involved in the identification andtranslation of novel host and tumor biomarkers. These researchprograms are funded in part through NCI grants including a breastSpecialized Program in Research Excellence (SPORE) grant. Breastcancer clinical trials are conducted in collaboration with theAlliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology, the Academic andCommunity Cancer Research United (ACCRU), the Translational BreastCancer Research Consortium (TBCRC), and the NCI ExperimentalTherapeutics Clinical Trials Network (ETCTN). Qualifications •Board eligible or board certified in Medical Oncology and eligiblefor licensure in the state of Minnesota.
