The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in advancing our research initiatives by conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to innovative projects. This position requires a strong background in molecular biology techniques and proficiency in bioinformatics tools. The Researcher will work collaboratively within a research laboratory environment, focusing on various aspects of genetic research. Duties Conduct experiments involving Next Generation Sequencing to analyze genetic material. Perform RNA extraction and DNA isolation to prepare samples for analysis. Execute PCR and other molecular biology techniques to support ongoing research projects. Maintain and manage cell culture and tissue culture processes to ensure optimal growth conditions for experimental samples. Develop and implement assays to test hypotheses and validate results. Utilize Python for data analysis and bioinformatics applications related to research findings. Collaborate with team members to design experiments, analyze data, and interpret results. Document all experimental procedures, results, and analyses in a detailed manner for future reference. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus. Experience with laboratory techniques such as cell culture , tissue culture , RNA extraction , DNA isolation , and PCR . Familiarity with Next Generation Sequencing technologies is highly desirable. Proficiency in programming with Python for data analysis is preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in laboratory practices. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
