The Wistar Institute is seeking outstanding faculty candidates in the new Center for Advanced Therapeutics (CAT) to bridge foundational discovery research in immunology, epigenetics, cancer and autoimmunity with new therapeutic approaches. Candidates at the Assistant, Associate and full Professor rank will be considered.
We are seeking highly accomplished, motivated and collaborative investigators to lead academic research programs focusing on problems in immune-oncology, autoimmunity, B-cell biology or immune epigenetics to complement ongoing research programs at The Wistar Institute. The ideal candidate will hold a PhD or MD/PhD with demonstrated research accomplishments in immune biology of cancer, autoimmunity, or epigenetics and a strong interest in a therapeutic development of basic research. This may include accomplishments in academic publications and bio/pharma industry experience. The successful candidate is expected to establish an independent, externally funded research program and actively pursue grant support to sustain and grow their laboratory. A strong publication record demonstrating impactful research and scientific leadership will be critical for success in this role.
