Graham Healthcare Group is hiring a Clinical Field Educator tojoin our dynamic team! The Clinical Field Educator helps first-yearfield clinicians cultivate their skills and knowledge in the fieldand classroom setting, improving field clinician efficiency andpatient care. Primarily responsible for the training of new fieldclinicians during the 8-week orientation and secondarilyresponsible for assessing, develop, and implementing learning pathsupport to first-year field clinicians. It is expected that theClinical Field Educator travels to the field clinician and canprovide patient care This position will be in our Lewisburg, PA,office location.
Clinical Field Educator Job Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate adherence to all regulatory requirements andorganization Policies and Procedures.
- Assess new fieldclinicians’ current skills and knowledge through direct observationand feedback from preceptors and Virtual Clinical Educators.
- Facilitate performance-based learning pathway for fast-trackedfield clinicians.
- Coach field clinicians on the fundamentals ofthe position in the field while providing patient care and in smallmeeting settings.
- Customize new field clinicians’ learning pathsand create readiness or remediation plans to support the first yearfield clinician’s individual needs.
- Document new fieldclinicians’ weekly orientation progression noting identified needs,remediation plan implemented, and outcome.
- Submit documentationof new field clinician performance concerns to Clinical Field StaffSupervisor (CFSS) and Human Resources.
- Manage preceptorassignments and provide direction on their work with new fieldclinicians.
- Conduct orientation calls with CFSS and communicatethe new field clinician’s or tenured field clinician’s readiness orremediation plans.
- Support preceptors in following the readinessor remediation plans.
- Evaluate and document new field clinician’sreadiness for incremental independence for patient visits andcoordinates caseload development during the 8-week orientation.
- Evaluate if new field clinician has met the requirements tograduate from the 8-week orientation. Prepare remediation plan ifcompletion is delayed.
- Conduct hands-on clinical skill checks andjoint visit evaluations as assigned to meet accreditationrequirements.
- Seek out clinical skill opportunities, whenpossible, for skills that are not signed off as competent on thenew field clinician’s Competency Checklist.
- Review, manage, andupdate new field clinician’s Competency Checklist throughout theorientation period.
- Use documentation/visit data, surveyresponses, and feedback from preceptor or CFSS to identify firstyear field clinicians who require field support.
- Evaluatelearning needs of first year field clinicians requiring fieldsupport and develop a remediation plan.
Document support provided,plan implemented, and outcome.
Clinical Field EducatorQualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum of three years’ clinicalexperience on this or related jobs in a hospital or healthcarefacility is required;
- Minimum of 1 year of Home Health and/orHospice experience required;
- Currently licensed to practice bythe state in which he/she is providing services for the agencyrequired;
- CPR certification required;
- Prioreducational/training experience preferred;
- Valid driver’s licenseand proof of current auto insurance required.
