Job Description
Postdoctoral Positions University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine Department of Cancer Biology, Abramson Family Cancer Research Institute (AFCRI) The Department and Institute support innovative research on cancer biology, cancer immunology, and leading-edge care that is delivered in a compassionate manner, and the education of professionals who share a commitment to innovative research. Postdoctoral positions are available immediately to establish and optimize chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-expressing T cells to target human acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or neuroendocrine tumors (NETs), and elucidate the underlying mechanisms. These positions require extensive experience working with recombinant DNA technology, immunology, cell and molecular biology, and mouse tumor models. Furthermore, knowledge and experience in T cell biology, and bioinformatics are highly desirable. The candidates should have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
