Part time – Wet Chemistry Analyst – Miramar 2.4 2.4 out of 5 stars Miramar, FL 33025 Advanced Environmental Laboratories, Inc. (AEL) is Florida’s largest environmental, chemical, analytical testing laboratory network. We are currently looking for a part-time Analyst to join our Inorganics team – Wet Chemistry for our Miramar, FL laboratory. Typical degrees for this position include BS in Chemistry, Biology, and Microbiology. As an analyst in the Wet Chemistry at AEL, you will be trained to perform analysis on drinking water, wastewater, and other environmental samples using EPA and Standard Methods under TNI certification guidelines. Analysis is for TSS, TDS, CBOD, Nitrate, Nitrite, Chloride, Sulfate, TKN, Ammonia, Total Coliform, Fecal Coliform, Fecal streptococci, Heterotrophic plate count (HPC), Escherichia coli (Ecoli), and Enterococci. Candidate must be very detail oriented, ethical, and responsible. Position might include some work on weekends at peak times.
