Product Specialist – Titration (part of Metrohm) 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars 9250 Camden Field Parkway, Riverview, FL 33578 We are the North American division of world-renown Metrohm AG (Herisau, Switzerland), an industry leader in laboratory instruments and accessories for analytical testing/research.
Job Duties:
Provides staff and customers the technical expertise of analytical titration necessary for each market through presentations, technical lectures, seminars, and webinars, and technical, installation, and commercial customer visits including development of analytical methods for industries including chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food, semiconductor, and environmental. Assists in instruction of complex robotic titration systems for multiparameter analysis. Programs the robotic process of various potentiometric and Karl Fischer titration and measuring modes. Assists customers to scale up titration systems to perform parallel titrations with reproducible, and traceable results that are compliant with FDA Regulations. Provides staff with titration-related expertise for instruments like pH meters and Rancimats as well as tracking niche products like Titrotherm and KF Gas Analyzers. Provide product training to sales reps including development of self-guided learning content and product demonstrations. Represent Metrohm at technical tradeshows using expertise to discuss solutions to customer issues and presenting technical information to various audiences.
Requirements:
Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry plus two (2) years of experience in Job offered or as Analytical Chemist specializing in titration. Any experience must include use of titration and robotic systems for chemical analysis for pharmaceutical, petrochemical, food, water & wastewater, metal & mineral resources, fertilizer, and research & education industries. Experience with programming analytical sequences using pH, mV and temperature measuring modes. Practical Experience in the use of automated pH and conductivity calibrations and measurements. Experience with implementing dynamic and monotonic potentiometric titrations as well as volumetric and coulometric Karl Fischer titrations. Assisting users with scale up of titration systems to perform parallel titrations with reproducible, and traceable results that are compliant with FDA Regulation. Experience with oxidative stability measurements (Rancimat) and Karl Fischer Gas Analysis (KFGA). Travel Required.
