You will be able to play an important role within the Gas Technician Department at Bo’s Electric, a Power Support Partners Company. Our company is looking for a Gas Technician who specializes in whole-home backup power generators. Our technicians serve customers by providing general electrical repair, generator installation, services, and sales with an emphasis on quality of work, performed efficiently, and following all applicable local and national codes. Key Responsibilities:
Performs specialty pipeline activities with little supervision Ability to take lead on pipeline projects, ability to work in a team environment Responsible for completing required paperwork, daily timesheets/real-time project data collection Assist in training fellow crew members in accordance with company safety policies and procedures Serve as a main contact for customers, inspectors, subcontractors, and vendors performing work in the field Adhere to state and local building regulations Ensure that daily operations are in accordance with the job specifications and customer requirements. Keeping progress in line with overall project schedule and cost estimate Safety driven with attention to changing project conditions Conducts on-site project reviews and design plans Oversees all work is compliant with industry and customer standards Ability to maintain, load, setup, and mobilize large equipment Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs. Ability to use basic power/hand tools
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in related field is a plus. Knowledge of gas pipeline construction Experience as gas laborer/gas operator/foreman (preferred) Knowledge of gas installation and replacement experience Excellent communication, interpersonal, and Team-oriented skills Attention to detail, organization skills, and management skills Working knowledge of computer and mobile devices
