Chemical Engineering Laboratory experience GMP Mid-level Microsoft Office Master’s degree Bachelor’s degree Chemistry Communication skills Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a qualified Chemical Analyst to perform laboratory tests, analyze product samples, and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards. You will be involved in testing raw materials, intermediate, and finished products, documenting results, and assisting with product development and stability studies. Duties Perform routine and non-routine testing using techniques such as HPLC, UV-Vis, FTIR, and titration. Maintain accurate records of tests and results in lab notebooks and electronic systems. Develop and validate analytical methods to determine purity in active ingredients and finished products.. Develops protocols and analytically assists in stability studies for finished products. Perform physical, chemical, HPLC, IR, and other equipment and/or microbiological analyses on all components, dietary supplements, packaging material, and labels according to SOPs. Develops and complies with Good Laboratory Practice procedures. Performs calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment according to SOP. Conduct regular audits of laboratory practices to ensure compliance with industry regulations. Assist in the fabrication and machining of components as needed, ensuring adherence to CGMP standards. Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations for management review. Keep the Certificates of Analysis of Raw Materials issued by the suppliers and prepare the documentation for the qualification of suppliers. Investigate and report deviations or out-of-spec results. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field (Master’s preferred). 1-3 years of experience in an analytical lab, preferably in Dietary Supplement, Cosmetics, Pharmaceuticals, or the Food industry. Proficiency in analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, etc. Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, and safety standards. Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Familiarity with CGMP regulations is a plus. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey findings to team members and management. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software tools for data analysis and reporting.
