Lab Technician (Contract Employee)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our Conley team. El candidato ideal será responsable de recolectar muestras, analizar sustancias y garantizar la precisión de los resultados de las pruebas. This role requires a strong understanding of laboratory procedures, safety protocols, and chemical analysis techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct chemical analysis following standard laboratory procedures. Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and samples for analysis. Operate laboratory equipment, such as spectrophotometers, chromatographs, and automatic titrators. Record, analyze, and interpret test results to ensure accuracy and compliance to specifications. Maintain detailed documentation of all experiments, procedures, and findings. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards, including proper handling and disposal of chemicals. Assist in quality control if needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in a laboratory setting preferred. Strong knowledge of laboratory safety practices and chemical handling procedures. Proficiency in using laboratory instruments and analytical techniques. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Work Environment:

Laboratory setting with exposure to chemicals and laboratory equipment. Use of protective gear such as gloves, safety goggles, and lab coats is required. May involve standing for extended periods and handling delicate instruments.
