Job Summary:

Airswift is seeking a skilled Measurement Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with oil and gas allocation and custody transfer measurement systems. This role involves performing meter calibrations, proving, sampling, equipment troubleshooting, and supporting the integrity of measurement data for compliance and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Measurement Operations:

Perform meter proving and calibration activities for LACT units and Sales Gas meters in compliance with regulatory standards. Conduct oil and gas sampling for custody transfer and allocation purposes. Maintain and troubleshoot liquid and gas measurement equipment, including positive displacement meters, helical turbines, orifice meters, and V-cone meters. Support allocation measurement by ensuring accurate calibration and sampling practices.

Technical Support:

Utilize Windows-based programs (OMNICOM, PCCU32, Mon 2000) for meter configuration and diagnostics. Perform equipment testing procedures and assist with troubleshooting measurement discrepancies. Ensure measurement systems meet regulatory and company standards for accuracy and reliability.

Administrative Support:

Document calibration results, sampling activities, and troubleshooting steps in measurement management systems. Provide support for reliability initiatives, including metrics reporting and system optimization recommendations. Assist with measurement data verification and reporting for internal stakeholders and regulatory audits.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 2 years experience/training in oil and gas allocation and custody transfer measurement systems. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for meter proving, calibration, and sampling (liquid and gas). Familiarity with single-phase metering technologies and operational troubleshooting. Experience with Windows-based measurement software (OMNICOM, PCCU32, Mon 2000) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work offshore or in field environments, around heavy equipment and under variable environmental conditions. High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
