What We Need:
We need a Processing Sanitation Technician who is responsible for performing sanitation activities to ensure the proper cleaning of equipment and machines following SOPs.
What You Will Do:
. A sanitation worker is responsible for cleaning/ sanitizing equipment to ensure produced goods are safe for the consumer and prevent food safety and security risks. Follow safe sanitation procedures Adhere to all GMP and SQF guidelines Work with and around sanitation chemicals. Breakdown/ Clean equipment, machinery and any associated surfaces as outlined in the sanitation work zone Must always conduct yourself in a constructive professional manner Must be able to adapt to ongoing changes and challenges Properly use all required PPE. Work with and around hot/ cold water. Use computer batching software as needed. Must be willing and able to train other employees as needed Need to be an improvement-focused team player/ work well with others. Perform given tasks from the sanitation master plan. Perform a visual inspection of completed work using provided inspection tools Fill out daily paperwork. Safely operate a pressure washer and water hose station. Work on elevated platforms/ ladders. (Must be certified) Work overtime and weekends as needed. Be able to work on one’s feet throughout the entire shift. Be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
What you need:
High School diploma or GED equivalent One year of industrial sanitation/ food safety & security experience in food manufacturing, preferred
