Chemist (Hair Color R D) – Temporary Role Do you have a chemistry background and a passion for consumer product innovation? We’re seeking a Temporary Chemist to support R D efforts in hair color formulation and testing for a leading beauty and personal care company. This is a hands-on lab role ideal for someone eager to apply their scientific skills in a fast-paced product development environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare lab batches of hair color and related consumer products Conduct product stability and performance testing Evaluate and record color results on hair tresses Use lab equipment such as pH meters, viscometers, and batching tools Fill and label lab samples for evaluation and distribution Maintain inventory of raw materials and lab supplies Apply CGMP practices in all lab activities Report findings and communicate formulation results effectively

Required Qualifications:

BS or MS in Chemistry , Chemical Engineering , or a related field 1-4 years of experience in formulation, product testing, or lab work Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail Excellent communication and data documentation skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data management tools Ability to lift lab materials and perform hands-on physical lab work

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in hair color , hair care, or consumer product formulation Familiarity with interacting with raw material suppliers Understanding of CGMP practices in a lab setting Why Apply? Pay Rate:

$40/hour
