The primary responsibility of the Junior Chemist is to assist in research and laboratory experiments verifying raw material and finished goods samples that support the manufacturing of non-tobacco, nicotine products. Key Responsibilities Develop methods for HPLC and Gas Chromatography analysis and ensure appropriate requirements are followed Maintain revisions to lab work instructions and test methods Perform non-routine analysis on various samples Responsible for documenting and interpreting data Perform daily/weekly maintenance on laboratory instruments and equipment Provide technical support to QA Technicians and compounders Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or relevant science-related field 5+ years of experience in analytical laboratory Proficient in use of scientific method, critical thinking, and problem solving Strong knowledge of high performance liquid and gas chromatography High problem-solving skills, thinking out of the box, innovative approaches to roadblocks Laboratory qualitative and quantitative analysis skills Strong knowledge or interest in raw material functions and properties Ability to follow instructions as well as to work independently What We Offer Base salary and bonus program Medical, dental, vision, life insurance effective on date of hire Generous 401(k) Plan Defined Contribution Plan Paid vacation and paid holidays Tuition reimbursement Professional growth and development programs to help advance your career!
