Our lab is grounded in synthetic organic chemistry but operates in a highly collaborative environment within the Department of Drug Discovery and the Molecular Medicine Program.

Position Highlights:

A variety of projects are ongoing in the lab including: the development of novel methods for

C-C, C-N C-S

bond formation, the total synthesis of bioactive natural products the structure-based drug design of anticancer compounds.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate for this position will focus on: developing new reagents and methods with applications to the synthesis of pharmaceuticals the synthesis of novel, small molecule kinase inhibitors.

Credentials and Qualifications:

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in organic or medicinal chemistry by their start date. The successful applicant will have extensive experience in small molecule synthetic organic chemistry (methodology, total synthesis and/or medicinal chemistry), a demonstrated track record of independent research, and the desire to work in a highly collaborative environment.
