is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Fragrance Formulator to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing the chemical formulations behind new fragrance products, ensuring they meet both technical specifications and creative goals. You will also oversee the formulation area, maintaining readiness of laboratory equipment, materials, and workstations to ensure an efficient and compliant workflow. The ideal candidate will combine a strong foundation in chemistry with a passion for crafting unique fragrances, and will be comfortable working independently in a hands-on environment. Duties and Responsibilities Develop and formulate chemical compositions for a variety of fragrance products based on product briefs, technical performance requirements, and market research. Conduct quality control and stability testing on fragrance formulations to ensure consistency, safety, and performance. Design and execute experimental protocols to evaluate new ingredients, formulation methods, and fragrance delivery systems. Oversee the formulation work area , ensuring that all necessary machinery, tools, and materials are available, calibrated, and properly maintained. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and quality assurance, to align fragrance development with company objectives. Maintain compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and relevant fragrance industry standards throughout the development process. Stay informed on market trends, new raw materials, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies relevant to fragrance innovation. Document all formulation activities, results, and modifications accurately and thoroughly, supporting intellectual property protections and internal records. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field (international degrees accepted). Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in fragrance formulation or chemical product development. Strong background in analytical chemistry and product formulation principles. Familiarity with laboratory equipment used in fragrance creation; ability to oversee station setup and material readiness. Understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and fragrance industry regulatory standards (e.g., IFRA) preferred. Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail and a creative mindset. Ability to work independently and efficiently within a small, collaborative team environment. Deep passion for fragrances and the science behind scent creation.
